Terms & Conditions
By using this website or booking any expedition, tour, retreat or workshop, you agree to these Terms.
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between you and The Fire Expeditions LLC (dba The Fire and The Fire Expeditions), a Wyoming limited liability company (referred to in these Terms as "The Fire", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of our website and your participation in any expedition, tour, retreat or workshop we run.
By using this website or booking any expedition, tour, retreat or workshop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use this website or book with us.
Use of Website
The content on this website — text, photographs, design and branding — is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of it without our written permission.
You agree not to misuse this website: no scraping, no interference with its operation, and no use of it for any unlawful purpose.
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it. Itinerary details, prices and availability shown on the website can change; the details confirmed at the time of your booking are the ones that apply to you.
Expedition Participation & Assumption of Risk
The Fire expeditions are physically and mentally demanding. They involve riding motorcycles over long distances on mixed and remote terrain — sealed roads, dirt, sand, rock, river crossings — often far from immediate medical care, in heat, dust, rain and darkness, and in parts of the world where conditions are unpredictable.
The risks are real and include, without limitation: serious injury, permanent disability, and death; motorcycle accidents; illness; exhaustion; extreme weather; animal encounters; and loss of or damage to personal property.
You choose to take part. By booking, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You hold a valid motorcycle licence and have the riding competence required for the expedition you book.
- You are medically fit to take part and have disclosed any condition that could affect your safety or the safety of the group.
- You accept full responsibility for your own decisions on the ride.
- You will follow the instructions of The Fire's guide and ride lead, and the laws of the countries we ride through.
Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD). A deposit is required to secure your seat on any expedition; the deposit amount and total price are confirmed at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before departure. If the balance is not received by that date, we may release your seat and apply the cancellation terms below.
Your booking is confirmed only when we have received your deposit and issued written confirmation.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you cancel 60 days or more before departure, you will receive a full refund of all payments you have made, minus your deposit. Deposits are non-refundable, because seats are limited and held for you.
If you cancel within 60 days of departure, payments are non-refundable. Where possible, we will work with you to transfer your seat to another man for the same expedition, at our discretion.
If The Fire cancels or materially changes an expedition before it begins, you will receive a full refund of all payments you have made. That refund is the limit of our liability, and we are not responsible for costs you incur separately — flights, gear, insurance, visas or anything else. We recommend refundable bookings and travel insurance that covers cancellation.
Privacy & Data Protection
We collect only the information we need to run The Fire: your contact details, booking information, emergency contacts, and any medical or dietary information you choose to share with us.
We use it to plan and deliver the expeditions, to communicate with you, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Questions about your data, or requests to access or delete it, go to hello@thefire.men.
Insurance
Travel insurance that covers motorcycle riding, medical treatment and emergency evacuation in the expedition region is mandatory for every rider. You must provide proof of cover before departure if we ask for it.
Riding without the required cover is a breach of these Terms, and we may remove you from an expedition without refund.
Limitation of Liability & Participant Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you take part in The Fire expeditions entirely at your own risk. You release The Fire Expeditions LLC (dba The Fire and The Fire Expeditions), its owner, guides and contractors from all claims, losses and liabilities arising from your participation, including those arising from the inherent risks described above.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the expedition in question.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Where any part of this section is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the remainder continues to apply.
Dispute Resolution
If something goes wrong, contact us first at hello@thefire.men and we will work to resolve it in good faith.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be handled on an individual basis. You agree not to bring or participate in any class action or representative proceeding against The Fire.

The Fire name, logo, website design, photography and written content are the property of The Fire Expeditions LLC (dba The Fire and The Fire Expeditions). You may not use them without our written permission.

Code of Conduct
The Fire runs on trust, and every man on an expedition is responsible for keeping it that way. You agree to:
- Treat every rider, and every community we pass through, with respect.
- Ride sober. No alcohol or drugs on riding days.
- Follow the laws and customs of the countries and regions we ride through.
- Look out for the men riding with you.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to the good-faith resolution process above.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and it applies from the date it is posted. Continuing to use this website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
